This was a sparely (and poorly) updated blog about a law student. Now it is being reborn as a cliche: a Midwestern transplant living in New York City (here, Astoria) I am going to do my best to not write about work. Instead this will be an effort to document and record my attempt to have a life outside of work. Hopefully it won't be too dull.

DMV

On my 2nd try, I got my new drivers license today. It's a boring story and can be summed up like this: The NY DMV wanted more proof that I was a licensed driver for longer than 6 months (I had to get an abstract overnighted to me) than they wanted that my address was valid (they didn't even look at my lease).

Buncha morons.

Next adventures: couch and groceries
